BOA has come back with an MI contribution on an 80% Lot Loan!???

has anyone run into a similar situation? My seller had an 80% LTV lot loan an a vacant lot in northern Florida. The developeer went belly up, never finished the subdivision and lots that sold for $250,000 are now going for $5,000. We have been countered in EQ with a request from the "MI company" on two of these loans. The sellers swear that there was no MI on their original mortgage.....

I'm wondering if anyone has contact numbers for any higher ups at this sericer....I have clients about to retire and live off of social security and AHMSI is asking for 50k in cash at closing. This is absolutely ridiculous. They say they are not eligible for HAFA becasue a year ago the client did not return requested documents.
