I had a file with Wells Fargo since 8/17 and the offer that came in meets the ATP dollar figure. I still haven't heard on approval yet andthe buyer just walked almost two weeks ago. the file is in Equator and the person I am working with is simply put HORRIBLE at communication. I have even tweeted this and get that I need to call the main number to escalate. I did and was told there was nothing they could do. I tweeted that and they told me to contact a local branch for help..........REALLY?
I need to talk to someone at Wells who cares about their customers and wants to get the job done. I have another offer for this home but the buyer is not willing to get to inspections until after approval based on this information. I don't blame them. Please let me know if you have someone I can contact. I am at a true loss.

Hi Sheila, have you tried to escalate the file directly with the HUD National Servicing Center? They can open a ticket for you and have a HUD Specialist get involved and contact Wells to see what the issue is. You just need to submit an LOA to them before they can open a ticket.
I haven't Jen but will certainly do that now. Would you be so kind to let me know numbers you have for doing this?
You bet. You can email the LOA to HUD at [email protected]. Make sure the LOA is made out to HUD National Servicing Center and not Wells. Allow 24 hours for HUD to receive it, then call and ask them to open a ticket to investigate what Wells is doing with the short sale. They'll provide you with a ticket number to reference each time you call. Once the ticket is open, you should receive a phone call back from a HUD Specialist within 2-3 business days. They'll need to know a little bit of the history before they contact Wells. The number for the Servicing Center to follow up is 877-622-8525. Good luck! :)
YOU ROCK JEN! Thank you so much
Sheila,
Who is your negotiator?
