Suntrust - Lost buyer- Will I need to renegotiate

We just lost the buyer for oe of our short sales. The approval expires on 6-24. I know we can't just close with a new name, however, do you think the negotiator will renegotiate without havig to start over entirely?

They will start  over but it should be faster than before.  Maybe one month as oppposed to 3 months.

I have had it go both ways. SunTrust should allow a name change as long as the numbers don't change. Either way you don't have another option but to ask. The sooner you ask the better. Have the Contract, HUD and POF reeady to present.

I closed a Suntrust about 6 months ago where we switched out a buyer with no issue at all.
