After being told the foreclosure sale was postponed on one of my HSBC short sales, and that the offer was acceptable and submitted for final approval- they let the foreclosure go through anyway!!

This is from my seller, in Navarre Florida, after she got the news: "I am very disappointed but I can’t say that I am surprised by this. HSBC has been horrible during this whole ordeal and I wasn’t really expecting a change at the end.
Todd and I appreciate all of your hard work and are grateful that you tried to help us. Your office has been helpful and straightforward throughout our business relationship and we would recommend you to anyone and everyone in the Panhandle."

I had that happen with wells fargo two weeks ago. I had over 20 hours into it and we were waiting for final approval but it went to auction! all they needed was updated paperwork and they even had it in their system. The negotiator just didn't care enough to verify it was stopped. that stinks.
Neil, I am pretty angry about this. What a total disappointment. It serves as a big warning for future dealings.

Wendy,

It is certaily a case of the left hand needing an introduction to the right hand and you have every right to be upset.

So, how do we make lemonade out of this lemon? How about publishing the negotiators name - and then next time one of us draws him, we can let him know his name is on the message boards and to please do a better job so we can give praise for his performance?
Just a thought...
Christina.... I am so alarmed at this occurence that I will not take any short sale lender's word for it in the future.
