Jeff - You then have closed one of the few HAFA sales in the country! Big congratulations!  Was it a pre-approved seller, and if so, was the price pre-approved?  Chase pre-approves the seller, but not the price.  What issues involved, if any?
Thanks Wendy,  this was your referral!!! They are military so we thought we could use HAP but his orders were cancelled and she lost her job at the same time.  We submitted a normal package to EMC and they ran it through as  a HAFA sale.  Borrowers were current on their loan too.  No issues at all on this one, EMC even used the BPO that I included in the short sale package.   Seller was not pre approved, nor was the price.  Worked with one of the best negotiators I have ever worked with.  Your referral check will be in the mail today :)
JEFF - LOL that is SO COOL!!  Thank you, great story!!

50-days to get EMC HAFA APPROVAL! Just closed 1/5/11

I would call this a success! Glad EMC/Chase has their act together.

Property in Santa Clara County

1st and 2nd with EMC

Sales Price: $199,000

Seller received $3,000 relocation money!

Contract submitted to EMC on 9/13

HAFA underwriting approved 11/16 ( 33-days)

Approval 11/24- 50-days !

This was not a "pre-approved" HAFA client.  Her file was automatically submitted for review-without any of the HAFA forms by the way. We didn't submit the forms until after we already had the approval.  We actually closed and the negotiator called to let me know they didn't get the paperwork.  Guess lender live forgot to post them to her account.

Probably a Fluke but we are all very happy!

Good going, Sandy!  It's awesome that our Short Sale Superstar members are getting this kind of success!
