Just Found Out the Processor from Chase Closed my File on my FHA Short Sale!!! It's Back Open, but I need Help

I am seriously confused.  I thought all was proceding normally when I finally get a call for an appraisal on my FHA Short Sale about 3 weeks ago...however, I guess I shouldn't have been.

 

I was assigned a processor from Chase about a month in and a half ago whom I was NEVER able to get a hold of despite calling and leaving numerous messages.  I would end up calling the main number for updates.  The last update I received told me that I needed to have an offer before September.  I kept asking about the Participation Approval Letter and the main area really had no idea what that was.

 

Anyway, to make a long story short, an appraisal was done and I thought we were moving in the right direction to get a letter and called today to find out that the processor CLOSED my file because there was no contract?!!  Of course I ended up calling the main number again because my processor still doesn't answer the phone.

 

The gentleman reopened my file and I asked him to please note on there to assign to someone who was familiar with the HUD short sale process.  That has been done, but since I don't have a warm fuzzy, I need some extra advice. 

 

Does ANYONE know who I can contact to get this ball rolling again and get on the right track so I can help my client out?

Called the escalation department who has since told me that no Preapproval Particpation Letter can be issued as we are within 120 days of a foreclosure sale. 

I am still escalating as the packet has been in for a little under two months and I was never able to get a hold of the processor.  The main number that I called kept telling me, they have approved the short sale just waiting on an offer. 

Apparently when they did the appraisal, they were doing something else??  I don't know.  I have also called the FHA who at first gave me some weird number 888-297-8685.  This is incorrect as this number tells you to press star and then to subscribe you will have to pay $9.95 a month?  Called back and got an e-mail instead. 

Not sure what else I can do at this point.  Chase told me to get an offer in before the foreclosure sale and they may consider the short sale???  Ugghh
