HElP!!    I have turned in a Short Sale Package to Citi and both times it was rejected. The negotiator states the investor has a moratorium on its short sales. The has been an NOD filed about 30 days ago.

 

I have no idea what to do.

Who is the investor? Need to find out if they are b.s.ing or if it's true.

Simply ask who the investor is and then call them and ask them 1. if what the negotiator said is true 2. why there is a hold on short sales 3. when that time will be over.

 

If they give you crap about the investor then get the homeowner involved. They have to release that info to the homeowner.

 

P.S. you should have enough time to complete the short sale if NOD was only 30 days ago.
