FHA Approval Letter From Chase-
Time frame to get FHA approval letter from Chase. The ATP was signed and submitted back in Nov 4th and was informed via Equator that they will review and issue approval within 5 business day.. but nothing yet and now the negotiator emailed me that she is reviewing the file and can take her 5-10 business day.. Is this normal for Chase?All the other FHA I have done with other lenders usually provide approval within a few days after the ATP is approv

Usually with our Chase short sales the file is reviewed by negotiator to ensure all docs are correct, then submitted for investor review/approval, which can take longer than 5 days. That being said Chase seems a bit behind right now, having a difficult time getting ahold of our negotiators.....lots of service released files too, which someone at SPS told me is due to non-compliance. Not sure how true this is but we are definately seeing inconsistencies.
I would write her a note asking why the delay.... -
