I've been working on a short sale for over 3 months.  Completed every task quickly and last week was one day away from the negotiator sending the file to the investor for final approval.  They requested a proof the seller was unemployed.  I sent her last paystub, but when I checked back 2 days later, they had closed the file.  I missed an email that ended up in my spam.  Now they tell me I have to start over.  Is there anything I can do to get them to reopen this file instead of me starting over?  The sellers have been working on this short sale for over a year.  We have the best buyer and I'm afraid they will walk if I have to start over.

Last paystub is not "proof of unemployment".  Should have sent over discharge letter from employer, or get one if not provided, or a copy of state unemployment application, or other document from the state unemployment office. If receiving unemployment benefits, a copy of the last payment stub would work great.

I just logged on to Equator today to find that my short sale file, working since March, 2012 with NO OUTSTANDING TASKS has been deleted by Bank of America.

That happened to me once and I had to start completely over. File open since November. Got no tasks, got deleted after two weeks. Contacted negotiator, called 800 #, everything. Nothing. Had to resubmit. Lost about 3 weeks.

Did you try the Twitter team Patrick? @BofAHelp. I really hope it works out for you. Its so frustrating.
