Hi Everyone, I have this short sale with BofA now for about 3 months.  It is being handled through equator of course.  30 days ago the negotiator said they had Investor Approval and had forwarded it on now to the "FNMA Closing Team".  They anticipated a 2 week response time from FNMA... however it has been 4 weeks now with no response.  The negotiator just says they will let me know when they hear something.  I've asked them (Negotiator, Team Leader, Manager, VP) via equator system to Escalate and have gotten no response either.  Anyone have this long of a wait on FNMA approval after Investor approved?  Any suggestions?   Thanks.

Find a good email for Fannie Mae on Google like [email protected] and send them an email detailing the particulars like you have here. Don't be surprised when someone from Fannie calls you or at least emails you on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week! ;-)
Thanks Kent for the recommendation... I just sent an email to both of these:

[email protected]
[email protected]

I will let everyone know when/if I get a response.

Call Fannie Mae yourself. They are very good at responding to you. Get your regional office since you are on the west coast. The regional office will transfer you and then you will be escalated. They are very good at calling you back. Be sure to have the Loan #, address and homeowner's name. They can give you an estimated time.
