We had an approved short sale with Servicelink as the servicer - they gave us less than 3 weeks to close right before the foreclosure sale.  We immediately requested a foreclosure postponement and were told the negotiator had requested from Indymac.  Every day before the due date we begged the negotiator for an update and were told he made the request but had no reply.  The lender foreclosed on the home just a few days before we could close the short sale!

I was told by customer service at Servicelink to call Indymac directly.  I was able to speak with Indymac supervisor and he stated he did not see that the negotiator ever requested a postponement and tole me to call their REO department.  He stated that it is possible to reverse this.  I left a message and received a message the day after Thanksgiving from a Linda Cain  - she stated the home was not in their system yet and now I would have to deal with the new broker!  I don't want to deal with the new broker as he has no interest in working with me the short sale listing agent!

If anyone has any suggestions to get this reversed I would be most appreciative!!!!
