I just submitted a new short sale package to AHMSI and after 4 days of faxing and everyone saying they didn't have it, I overnighted a hard copy and sent it to a different fax number.
They finally got it and I was told a negotiator would be assigned.
I called the next day to find out my negotiators name, only they wouldn't let me talk to him. There was an auction date in the next week 1/2 on the property so needless to say I was anxious. I had to also submit a 4506-T form and profit and loss statement (even though they hadn't asked for it yet) --just trying to be proactive.
I signed on for a membership for pointofmail.com - It tracks the email, when it's opened, if the attachment is opened etc., and reports it to you. I don't work for them but I was PSYCHED with what I saw. I sent the email to the negotiator yesterday based on the [email protected] extension (I just finished another short sale with them) and used the pointofmail.com service
Today I logged on and saw when he opened my email and if he opened the attachements. It was awesome. I called into customer service and again they wouldn't transfer me but I was told the auction was cancelled!!!!! SWEEET!! One hurdle down and a bazillion others to go.
I really like I can see when they open the mail and the attachments.
Just thought I'd share.
Oh and I sent him a follow up email thanking him for helping to facilitate the stop of the auction, which he opened!!! :)
