Has any one ever work or have advice in working with a Short sale with a judgement for Child Support/Spousal Support? I had a prelim report prepared and notice the judgement on it. I also notice that there is a Bankruptcy. However, the homeowner stated that the bankruptcy have been discharged, so I've asked her to provide me any documentation that support it being discharge.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

The judgment will depend on the individuals situation in regards to if they will settle or require to be paid in full. It's similar to working any judgment. Good move on requesting the paperwork showing the BK has been discharged as that likely will be required.
Let me know if you need anything at all and warm regards,

Thank you Brett, The judgement states "installment payments" Since I have the case #, I tried pulling up the information to get more details but the courthouse where the judgement came from is not showing in the selection box for me to search. I will call and see if I can get some guidance on pulling up the information.
Once again, thank you for your feedback.

Great! I just got off the phone with Title and they will be forwarding the information on the Child support. She informed me what they will need to have it cleared on there end depending on the status of where the owner is on payments.
Now I'm also dealing with the fact that Lien is on the property by the previous banks, when my client have statement from SPS on the first lien and correspondence from a Lawyer regarding Newport Beach Holding on the 2nd Lien. I was informed I will need to get a demand from the previous banks "First Franklin a Div. of Nat. City Bank. I can see I have quite a road ahead of me, but I'm up to the challenge. Any advice on that part?
You've been great help.
