What can I do with the "Account # already esitsts in Equator" message?

I have three different short sales that I have tried to initiate and gotten this message. I assume it refers to the fact that my sellers contacted equator as instructed and did their part. A file was probably opened. But how can I now access those files to put the offers in?

Anybody else have experience with situation?

The seller has to specify you as their Realtor, and enter your contact information. You should then get an invitation from Equator to "list' the property (even if you already have a signed listing, it is not yet "listed" in Equator).

Once you list the property in Equator, you will be able to upload an offer and supporting docs.
The client goes onto a totally different website and signs up.
Then you as the agent should be assigned to the file.
It is a litle confusing, but you cannot upload an offer until you have a file open...ugh.

If we get on the phone together I can probably walk you through it.
Thanks, Bob and Kathleen. I will make sure that my sellers have supplied all of my contact information.
the seller website is www.bankofamerica.com/shortsale
there they login, enter their data and on the right hand side of the screen it should show you as the assigned agent.
Thanks. I've passed this information on to my sellers.
