Where do I get the ss packet?
Just got off the phone with a US Bank negotiator. First off I want to point out that he had no idea what the HAFA program is...lol! Anyways, the negotiator denied our offer saying it was to low. When I told him that the offer was close to market value and the only one that came in, he replied by stating that the BPO came in higher, but refused to give the value that the home came in at.
After an hour on the phone and lots of prodding and pulling, it seems that we were only 6-7K off what the investor wanted in the first place. In a perfect world, a counter offer from US Bank would have solved this problem 30 days ago.
We have to work so hard to get the simplest of things done with these banks!! Thanks Obama!
Once you have your offer in they usually postpone the foreclosure while it is pending.
US Bank and I are old friends now lol, they have been requiring the last 4 of tax id and time frame on Authorization for a while now. Sometimes they remember to ask you for and sometimes the don't.....
My question would be what are they using that information for?
Also if you have a buyer who is putting any amount down rather 3.5% or 20%
US Bank will need to see proof of funds... just fyi...thanks
Kevin, I have a SS with US Bank and yes, I was told that my broker tax id was needed and also I needed to add the time frame for which the authorization is valid for. My authorizations always have the last four digit of social so it was just the
tax ID and the time frame added.... best regards
US Bank requiring the last 4 of the SS# or Tax ID # for the Authorized Party???
Natasha,
What type of loan? HAFA or non-HAFA?
Does anyone have a phone number to a higher level contact with US Bank? I need some way to escalate this file. Foreclosure date is December 20th. Send me a private message if you would like.
