How to find a referral agent

THIS GROUP IS NOT TO POST ADS

*** You may introduce yourself if you are new. From then on only post a referral out if you  have one *** Offenders will have comments deleted.

There are now three ways to find an agent to refer to.

***A referral is a real seller or buyer looking to buy or sell real estate. PLEASE do not use the email blast to tell others you will pay a referral fee. That is NOT a referral. It is spam. And it's not allowed.

First, you can type in City and/State in the search box that's there when you click on the new "Find An Agent" tab at the top of every page. But remember this search is only as good as the information that we enter into the site.

So please go to your profile and make sure you enter your State and city or cities. Just separate by commas and you can add multiple cities.

Secondly, if you are logged in to the site and place your cursor over the "Find An Agent" tab you will see a sub tab "Referral Map". Take a couple of minutes and add yourself to the map. This will link back to your profile.

Thirdly, you can send out a message to the members of this group. Just look right over there to the right and "Send Message to Group".

Hope this helps.

Jeffrey- Glad you found someone. I need to clarify about the cancer cluster. Some people call the part of the 'acreage'- that has that cluster as Royal Palm, some call it West Palm Beach, and some call it the 'Acreage' and Loxahatchee. So I needed to clarify so I don't scare anyone needlessly.

Cancer scare?

Tristan- Yes, I told him he should freelance or start his own biz. He is a great guy. I do like my name:) We pronounce it the European way but people here really can't pronounce it right. Congrats on going to have a baby- those are miracles that are just the best in life! I had 6!

Jeffrey- Sorry, been busy on the phone with lenders negotiating short sales. We are in Wellington which is right next to Royal Palm Beach. It depends on where in Royal Palm the listing is because there is a section where NO buyer can get a loan because of a cancer scare. Suntrust just pulled out denials for anyone wanting to buy in that cluster.
You can ask anyone in this group or on Active Rain if we know short sales, :)

Jeffrey, why not search for members in the area and contact them to see if they meet your expectations/requirements.

I just wanted someone that was really experienced at it. Not someone that got"certified" by agreeing to pay a "university" 1200 dollars for a year or $599. to get designated. I am a firm believer in learning by doing. I have met people that got "certified" and/or designated an "expert" or "specialist" just because they attended a half day seminar! To me, you're a shortsale expert when you've done at least 10 from the listing side. I found several agents willing and qualified to do the referral on active you know what.

Jeffrey,

Might want to change it to 5 plus or even 3 plus. Then interview the agents. Last summer one of the training groups I was with said the an agent who has completed 5 shortsales (on the selling side) is ahead of about 90% of the rest of the agents.

Just a thought.

I have a referral for someone that has done at least 10 successful shortsales in the royal palm bch florida area. Contact me for details if you qualify. Must live in that area.
