So, I get a call from a seller who closed on her short sale Oct 26th - she says she just received a mortgage statement from HSBC and the statement reflects that the short sales fund were posted as a payment on the account rather than fund the short sale!

She faxed it to me, and sure enough...

Yep, her former $135k balance is now only $95,000 - yay!

I have to admit, this is the first time this has ever happened on one of my files.

The fun just never ends!  I just had to share ;)
