Green Tree at it again!
Hi All! Does anyone have any higher-up contacts with Green Tree? We've been dealing with a lovely negotiator since January who has returned my several-times-a-week-phone-calls maybe three times since then. I've been able to get through to a "manager" but I need someone who can actually DO something when a negotiator is being beligerant and hanging up on us. Thank you!

Are you talking to a negotiator or the Account Manager? The account manager has hung up on my several times as well. But found my way to the short sale department where they have been professional so far with me. The account managers "manager' is not any good either.

Has anyone gotten a counter from Greentree in writing of some sort? The negotiator I am working with is a piece of work and keeps contradicting himself. He will not tell me what Greentree will approve on fees (buyer closing cost assistance, HOA, commissions, etc) only that it needs to meet a ridiculously high 'net'. In fact he is telling me it needs to be $50,000 over market value.
I've heard that Greentree is on a 'tier' compensation level with Fannie Mae files, and that the negotiator may be pushing the price so he is in the higher tier.
He refuses to give me an approval letter or anything in writing at all.
Anyone else run into this problem?
