This is not a HAFA short sale, but they have been told they will receive relocation money.
I have a short sale in progress and my seller is being sent drive by fee's from the lender.
every two weeks or so the lender (Seterus) has someone drive by the home. Then a bill is sent to my seller.
Has anyone encountered this before? What if anything should my seller do?

Linda - I have never heard of such a thing. The short sale mortgage holder, Seterus, sends the borrower a bill every two weeks to do a BPO? Maybe this is part of their total foreclosure fee, and they are just breaking it down. Maybe someone else will pipe in. I would hope this would be considered "settled" at your short sale approval with waiver of deficiency, and the foreclosure cancellation.
