I am a full time Realtor®/Agent with over 20 years of experience assisting Sellers and Buyers achieve their objectives at the best value and in the optimum time frame. I have personal experience in regular short sales as well as VA Compromise Sales and the DOD Homeowners Assistance Program. I also am a registered REO Agent listing and selling Bank Foreclosures, I am a member of the National Short Sale Superstars network of agents specializing in Short Sales to share information on how best to deal with the various banks to obtain a timely approval. Be aware that short sales take an average of 120 days to process AFTER they get the complete file sand many take much longer.
Buyers should take note that now is the best time to buy a home with prices at an all time low and some of the lowest interest rates ever. I have specialized in listing and selling foreclosed properties and understands how the process works from offer through closing. Individuals who qualify as first time home buyers (includes home buyers who have not owned a home in the last 3 years from settlement date) - you may qualify for an $8,000 tax credit you may claim immediately after closing. Note that this is scheduled to expire on November 30th, 2009. Both the Senate and House have bills in process to extend this credit through the end of 2010.
