Does anyone have any good contacts at GMAC. I have a f/c set for this Friday and they won't postpone due to investor guidelines. I need to have this escalated to someone with some power.

I subscribe to & utilize a great service called Foreclosure Radar: http://www.foreclosureradar.com/
It's only available on the West Coast; there may be similar services for other parts of the country.
Foreclosure Radar allows me to scan Notices of Default, & to determine how upside down a particular property is, & the amount of the default, & the remaining timline before the projected Trustee Sale.
Armed with this information, along with an introduction letter, & a CDPE Foreclosure vs Short Sale fact sheet...I go right up to the door of selected properties & do my best to engage the defaulting homeowner into opening up about their modification attempts, & breech the idea of allowing me to list their property as a short sale, in order to make the most graceful exit.
As I have jokingly mentioned before, I only get shot at once or twice a week.
