Only one lender, Suntrust

Approval received 60 days from accepted contract

It took an extra week to get the deficiency forgiven and in writing

FHA buyers needed a 2 week extension

I am very happy with the outcome and with the professionals at Suntrust, the seller is very happy that she can finally move on and the first time home buyers are excited with a home big enough for their entire family.

Okay...I still need a glass of wine.  Cheers!!

Did you do anything to push it through?

No, I didn't push it through initially for the first approval.  Just submitted a good package from the start including my own professionally done interior BPO.  I noticed that their interior BPO was ordered within 2 weeks of the initial submission and I want to believe that mine triggered theirs.  It's important to price the property right and accept an offer that makes sense.  I also responded quick anytime the bank wanted additional information. This meant I had to keep all parties engaged and was in communication with them often.

You are getting good advice in your other threat.
