So I received a great counter for an Equator deal with BOA.

  • Since then the old buyer has walked away.
  • Can I slide a new buyer in?
  • If I have to start over, will they take as long?

Tanna. The ones who know the due dates for the task are the seller and whoever they gave 3rd party authorization to. Sounds like that is Seattle Short Sales.

As the co-founder of this site I'm really pleased to see you here getting answers to your questions. I truly hope you are able to have a successful closing on your first home.
Tanna,

I have one concern,

Once the 3rd party authorization is verified the next task is to input the offer information, this is where we enter all the specifics of the purchase such as, Names of agents involved, name of buyers, 1st 5 digits of Social and DOB, purchase price, contingencies Etc.

This task has to be completed in order for the task to upload the actual documents opens up. So I hope the person at Seattle Short Sales got that info from the paper work you submitted with the offer.

Here is one thing I always do, once I uploaded everything, I go to my list of properties, click on the property itself and the next screen will show what tasks have been completed and the date they were done.

I then print the screen and email it to the buyers agent so they can seen it has been done and the file is in the system.
Hi Juan,

Whoo long day just got home from Canada. Thanks for the reply, I'm going to forward it to my agent, she sent an email to the listing agent pretty hard core asking why it took them a month and a half just to send the papers to SSS. Anyway I really appreciate all you help and I will definately keep you updated.

Happy Sunday:)
