Hi everyone, thanks for your helpful comments. I am having trouble with Ocwen right now. They issued a short sale approval letter back in September, with a full approval arriving about 2 weeks ago. Our goal was to close Oct. 7, but the letter said funds would have to be in by October 11th. Escrow faxed HUD-1 on October 3rd. I called on 5th-- they hadn't received it. I emailed it the 5th. On the 6th they confirmed they got it. On the 7th, they said they didn't have it! I sent it again. On the 10th, I called and they said that they had received something internally on the 9th and that the file was under review. Call back Thursday. I call today-- they said they don't have the HUD-1! I have two questions for you all out there: what do I do about the fact that the HUD-1 is for a October 7th closing?? And that the short sale letter was only good to the 11th??

Quick update-- I emailed and called Ron Ferris and got a response later the same day!! Jesna is now working on the case. I have a new question though. Initially, we didn't fund because we never received the HUD-1 back from Ocwen. When I spoke to Jesna, she said that they don't need to sign off on the HUD-1, that the short sale approval should be enough. Do any of you have any experience with this?
