Ocwen requesting higher purchase price than previoulsy accepted
I had approval with an agreed purchase price and needed an extension for 2weeks. I tried to get one prior to the expiration of the first and was told I would have to wait until the current one expired. Well when I called back they decided with no new BPO that they wanted 8k more and would not give an extension. I was told it was upper management. I have tried to get in touch with management to dispute this but have been completely ignored. Anyone have contacts within Ocwen? I have copy of buyer's appraisal which shows value at original agreed purchase price. I have already tried the ombudsman with no luck.

I am in a short sale situation with Ocwen and have had nothing but a nightmare situation. I can tell you that MAYBE this lady could help...as it APPEARS as though she might be helping me. We will see. :) Name is Joanne Perez email is [email protected] . Good luck. I am on this site TRYING to find contact info as well that hasn't been disconnected or somehow someone would have an idea that would work for me too. She is out today (the supervisors there sure seem to take a LOT of days off and get NOTHING done while they are there). Joanne is a supervisor of supervisors.

Thanks Laurel! I got an out of office reply for Joanne Perez with info to contact [email protected]. I have also sent her and Ron Faris an email.. I will keep my fingers crossed for the both of us! Let me know if it works out for you..

You will find out that Aditya.sharma is also out of office. :) Funny. Like I said, the supervisors take a lot of time off. Her out of office states to contact Najeesh K. whom said he would help me a few weeks ago and then I never heard from him again and nothing ever moved forward either. I finally got through to him today and he said "he'd feel more comfortable speaking to Joanne about it first and then getting back to me tomorrow. We are TRYING to close by end of day tomorrow. HAHA NOT likely!! I asked him to call me as early possible so that IF she is able to help w/a letter that we could still close tomorrow. Buyer's lender can sign/close same day. AUGH! Will be glad when the stress of this is done!

Good news!! Without contact from anyone or any email reply I received a new approval letter from Ocwen for the original amount giving us until Dec 24th to close!! I guess the escalation to everyone and anyone worked! Thanks everyone for you help! I do recomend emailing and calling Ron Faris.
