I have had two homeowners approach me that had foreclosure dates set.  Ocwen said they don't postpone even if you have a strong offer.

I had another Ocwen homeowner call me two months ago. NO foreclosure on the horizon.  We got it under contract with a stong offer and waited and waited.  No BPO..no response...nothing.

Foreclosure just got set and of course I'll be losing another one if I can't get this through.

We get INDIA when we call....Does ANYONE have a contact or helpful advice?

Hi Wendy,

Why do you say one needs luck to deal with Deutche Bank ? They are the investor for the OCWEN loan I'm dealing with right now. Long story, but your posts helped. Thanks!

Start a HAMP loan mod they will stop a Trustee Sale and afterwads have your client write a letter requesting a short sale but have a buyer ready.
keep notes - I have an Ocwen ss now wherein they approved everything as though it was HAFA (submitted as HAFA) including the relo cash but refuse...so far...to include the full release.
Ocwen is just the servicer, I have gotten in touch with HSBC the plaintiff & trustee - now just trying to get to the RIGHT person at HSBC, the foreclosure attorney knows nothing about HAFA, (in all fairness it's not their job to do anything to actually help a borrower)
but Stephen is right HAMP HAMP HAMP, HAFA HAFA HAFA - it's the ONLY way to deal with Ocwen
You have to stay on Ocwen continually to get them to do anything. The story that they don't postpone trustee's sales is, at least in CA, BS. We've had them postpone several deals, some as many as 5 times. Just escalate to their corporate offices in Florida and be relentless.
