I wish I could find an agent like you guys. I have a first with Wells Fargo and a 2nd with Greentree (servicing for GE Money Bank) I've lost 2 buyers in the last year. I showed my agent this site and feed him the information about calling corporate, even gave him the phone numbers. He did get a name and number, talked to the operations manager once. Said the guy was rude and refused to go any further. I personally worked with the negoiator at Greentree, who was very nice to me but refused to budge. The dollar amount they were asking for just kept going up and up with each phone call. I made a legit offer to settle the liability but the negoiator would not even sent it to "management for approval". The latest from Greentree was that I was not selling the house for enough. Their assesed value was way over market. At that point, my second buyer walked away.
Wells Fargo has refused to even look at my short sale package until I settle the lien with Greentree. I'm at a loss now, just waiting for Wells Fargo to start foreclosure. Neither bank has seen a dime since last November. And Greentree just keeps threatening me with a judgement. They say they will get their money one way or another.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. The house is in Rochester NY, small starter home so we are not talking big bucks here.
