Nov 2012 - NEW RULES - Can the new borrower incentive be applied to Oct approvals?

Can the new Freddie Mac $3,0000 borrower incentive for non-HAFA Short Sale be applied to an existing loan awaiting short sale approval that wont close until after 11/1/12?

It can if Freddie Mac will allow it. I just closed a non-HAFA Fannie Mae about a week ago with $3000 in relocation incentive.
