I have read quite a few threads on this site just now about B of A and Fannie and Fannie Mae themselves. My short sale negotiator emailed me today on  a lethargic short sale ( all from the B of A side) and provided me a new counter offer. I accepted the last counter two weeks ago and got no response from B of A. Now the counter says we have to close by 5/23, two business days from now, and we have yet to get an approval letter. What type of craziness is this? B of A claims the auction has been postponed four times and Fannie Mae will not postpone any longer. We could have closed already if B of A actually responded to their tasks. Anyone got any bright ideas for me?
