Question on Citi as a second lien holder to Wells Fargo originated 2nd loan

Hi all,

I am working on a short sale as a buyer's agent. The listing agent just forwarded me an email from Citi Mortgage (2nd lien holder). In the email, Citi negotiator states "Since this was a Wells Fargo originated 2nd lien worse case for us is they have to buy the 2nd back from us on the repurchase agreement and they can FCL on both liens". My question are:

(1) what "1st lender originated 2nd lien" ?
(2) Is Citi Mortgage negotiator correct in her statement ?
