Short sale approval is good to mid-September, and final HUD (from our side, Seller) was faxed to Chase early last week, for an August 16 (last Friday) close.
At the eleventh hour, last Thursday, buyer's lender advises that they need 72 hours to review the HUD, and requested buyer close on Tuesday, August 20 (tomorrow). The new HUD has Chase receiving a few hundred dollars more than the approved HUD for last Friday's approved close date.
I faxed the new HUD to Chase last Thursday night, requesting a buyer close on August 20, but no answer. My seller has already closed. Calls to the negotiator and closing officer have not been returned, and messages to both in Equator have not received a response.
Buyer, a real estate agent, also insists on closing at his title company, not the one we noted in Equator.
Tangled web. Any suggestions?

Hi John, You need a HUD approved by Chase in order to close. I'm doing one with them now, and the closer didn't see my Equator emails last week. I emailed her at her email in Equator (click on the name and it will show up). She called me shortly after that with review comments.
Chase won't allow any condo/hoa disclosure fees, termite fees and lots of other little things that are normally included, so there could be comments.
As to the title co closing, be sure the new co does the short sale affidavit. I wouldn't think it would matter but talk to the closer.
You should also have a customer service rep assigned (don't remember term they give)- number is likely on approval letter. Give that person a call. You should be able to get a person who IMs the closer while you are on the phone to discuss it with them.
I'm not sure what you mean by seller has already closed- you mean he bought another house? Or he already signed documents for closing?
Good luck!
