Does anyone have a way to contact a Chase negotator who just will not respond.
My client was assigned a Negotiator over three weeks ago and told a BPO would be ordered. Nothing has happened. I have attempted contact by FAX, phone and email with no response. I am aware that Short Sales take time but at least expect acknowledgement. What do you think am I too impatient? Any suggestions for making contact or reaching a supervisor? I called, what I've named the Chase Frontline, they are sympathetic and mark the file for 'escalation' for the second time but that's all. Thank you Margaret C. St Mary's Co. MD

Margaret, Unfortunately this is the way it all works. Believe it or not I had a BPO completed and never heard anything for 5 weeks. They will not call you, email,or fax until they have something to tell you. Think about it, if they called every agent that submitted a short sale that wound up on their desk, they wouldn't have any time to work on the thousands of files. Contact them by phone every 2 or 3 days and be patient - they will eventually call or email. GOOD LUCK!!
best way to get answers -- escalate your file to higher ups.
Best way to get contact info for higher ups --
1 - call the customer service department, they are about 50/50 on giving sueprvisor contact info.
or
2 - Call teh Human Resources department on "accident" --
"Oh, I am sorry, I was trying to reach the supervisor for ______________(your negotiators name) and was sent to you on accident......"
It works......customer service and human resources are genneraly NOT told "NOT TO GIVE THIS OUT". If you call loss mit. and try to get this info. many of them are told:
"We are not allwoed to give out supervisor contact info."
Best of luck....short sales are tough!!!
