Hello All,

I am a frequent poster and visitor to you great site. The education has been wonderful.

I recently received a contract offer on a property in Florida. This is an investment property gone wrong. We are attempting to sell short. I have been in contact with Chase once every other week for the past couple of weeks. Just wanting to make sure they have all my documents for when that offer did come in. The one thing I discovered is just because they have everything today does not mean they will have the same documents tomorrow...  With that said - I called Chase yesterday mourning just to check to see if they needed anything. I was told at that time that my file has been assigned to a Negotiator named Eric Jones. The Customer Service Rep did not have a phone number or fax number for Mr. Jones. She said he was not in the system and that she would send an email requesting that he call me. That was yesterday morning. I received the offer last night for the house. I called again today knowing that I would get a different customer rep and hoping that this person could get the phone and fax numbers for Mr. Jones. I was again told he is not in the system and that the rep would send an email to her supervisor asking for Mr. Jones to contact me.

Has anyone ever dealt with a Eric Jones?  Any tips on the best way to get his phone and fax number?

Thanks for your assistance....

Update - Turns out my Eric Jones is not a Negotiator but is the person who gathers all the information then sends a note to have a Negotiator assigned. After talking to the forth Chase Customer Service Rep in two days I was told this to be the case. This rep then told me to have my Realtor fax in the executed contract with original signatures. She said they will not accept electronic signatures. I was then told that they are running behind and that it will take 5 to 10 days before a Negotiator is assigned to my file..  Hopefully for me - a Negotiator will be assigned - they agree to the selling price - grant a full release - and then we close within 90 days... I am keeping my fingers crossed...
