I really need some feedback about what to expect from Chase Exec. Resolution group. We have an auction date for March 1, escalated on Monday, and were told we would hear back in 5-7 business days.
What has been the experience of agents in this forum? If the property is in foreclosure, does it get any priority? How long does it take for a response? Are agents having positive experiences?...or negative...as noted in a prior chase discussion?

Bettie,
we had an accepted contract on 12/31/2010 but after the inspection was done revealing an uninhabitable home, a new contract had to be resubmitted with same buyer but different price and loads of documentation on the condition of the property. The new contract was resubmitted Monday.
We just need someone to postpone the auction and work the offer.....
and I am wondering if the Chase Exec. Resolution group is the one to do it. We filed with them Monday after the offer was faxed. This would be the 3rd postponement of auction.

Do you have a contract?. They are not going to stop it for no reason. Are you in a judiciary state? Go to the judge if you have good reason.File with the Commonn Pleas Clerk of Courts. You will need your homeowner to do it. You need to help them amd be with them. .
Well, basically, when the seller told her he wanted a short sale, she said she couldn't help him then. She gave him the name and a disconnected phone # to try to get a short sale.....so we were back to square one...
I actually work with the buyer's agent and had coached the listing agent to call the Loan resolution group..because the listing agent was not following up and doing nothing to escalate the situation. After this incident, I convinced the seller to give me auth to take over the negotiation. On Monday, February 13, I started calling and by the next morning we had a processor and the date was postponed. We got a negotiator assigned on Tuesday, Feb 22 and as far as I know the package is in Freddie mac's hands now. :-) The negotiator told me the offer was 5K over BPO so everything looks good except the huge loss for Freddie...which could throw a wrench in the approval. He basically said he had no idea whether they would approve or just let the house foreclose....and so we wait........
