I need to know who I can contact now that my negotiator does not want to extend our approval. This short sale has been in the negotiator's hands for over a year......I'm sure she was "sitting on it" until recently. Finally, she sent an approval- but good for only ONE DAY!!!! Now, her voicemail is full and I need to know who I can speak to who has authority over this person........

I know they seem to make no sense, but, approval letter lengths are based on when loan servicing payments are due from the Investor on the note to the Servicer, and, based on when escrow payments are due.

Your negotiator, he/she may have quit (average length of employment for ANY negotiator is 2 to 4 months), or, is just swamped with files (some negotiators work on 500 files plus....think about that for a minute.....

Anyway, gotta keep this short......escalate your file to one of the higher ups and you can likely get an extension on your approval letter (or at least see what is going on). Best way to do this, call corporate, call the executive office, call customer service, call accounting, etc. and ask for the name of your negotiator's supervisor......with persistaence you should be able to get it resolved....if not, e-mail me, I have great contact at most of the [email protected]
