Bank Of America,

just got of the phone with Bank Of America short sales department. It has been very enlightening. I understand why this bank was  and is in finincial troubles. I've got several short sale sellers, and this bank is a joke to work with.

Got contracts and a bank whose system is either not working or they are unable to find documents.

Is there an escalation department that you guysknow off?

Oma,

I have yet to do a short with B of A now that they've implemented Equator. But, my understanding of how the process works now from a B of A conference call I sat in on about a week ago is this:
First, you need to get the short sale opened up in the Equator system.
Second, you will be assigned a negotiator or processor and this will be visible in the system.
Third, chain of command will always be visible - at least one level up anyway. So, you will be able to contact the assigned negotiator's or processor's supervisor via the system. And then you'll be able to contact that person's supervisor if you haven't heard anything back within 48 hours. And so on and so forth...
This comes directly from the executive who is in charge of the department that handles short sales at B of A.
Get to work escalating and good luck!
that's exactly what I'm trying to do, but the personel answering the telephone before you can get to the second person, are the ones stonewalling. It's a joke, my 16yr old makes more sense.
Just ASK for the escalation dept. Since B of A plays "musical phone numbers" any time I get a number for anyone useful the number is generally invalid after 1 or 2 transactions.
thanks for the info.
