Fannie Mae escalation

Does anyone have an experience with escalating a file directly with Fannie Mae? I have a BofA short sale, approved thru 1/15/10 and the buyer was delayed on his loan and he is using BofA for his financing. BofA short sale dept, says too bad, no extension, start over! I escalated this file as far as I could and got the same response. We have clear to close but no extension approval. The short sale dept says that FNMA won't allow the extension. HELP!

Jeff,

I am faced with the same dilemma now. I have a short sale expiring tomorrow with GMAC, Fannie Mae investor, and we can not close until Monday which is when the trustee sale date is scheduled for. Can you give me some insight as to how you made it happen? I emailed all email address' given on all these blogs for Fannie Mae about 20 minutes ago. GMAC is absolutely no help. You can not reach the negotiator by phone, only equator, reps will not transfer you to a supervisor, I have been hung up on "accidentally" about five times now. I am at my wits end. What do you suggest?
