So much for the headline "Bank of America Halts Foreclosures in All 50 States". The headline above shows the exact words we got from a negotiator today on a property with an auction scheduled. When we informed the negotiator we would like to get a postponement because we had an offer and were working on trying to get an approval, he said the auction wouldn't be stopped. Then used the descriptive words in the headline to make his point.

Nice, huh?

Hi Wendy:

This property was located in North Carolina.

Steve, send this on to the BofA executive team. An auction trumps an approval? Sounds like one of their smart ass young punk negotiators just trying to make a name for himself.
That's crap. The house we were bidding on had an auction date set twice while our bid was in play and the auctions were stopped when we found out and called BoA and Realtors involved. The BoA negotiators are creating a lot of these problems them selves. BoA has no idea what these negotiators are screwing up by playing games. After it is all over for us we will be pursuing legal options against the negotiator, agents, managers etc that allowed this game to go on for over a year now.
Save names, dates and phone numbers of who you talked to. Call your local Board of Realtors and MLS and give them your full story and ask them what to do. If where you live is like RI is some one in those offices will give a heads up to who you are complaining about. One week later we have the sighed BoA acceptance letter we have been demanding for six months.
We found out Jeff that the other agent and negotiator sat on one of our bids not submitting it causing the second auction date. Actually it wasn't submitting a new bid it was extending the first bid another month. Supposedly that is how BoA was able to request another 2k when our first bid was supposedly accepted. So I'm sure if we ever get access to our records we will find it says we walked away from our first bid which is a lie. That's why we had to submit a new bid that allowed BoA to ask for more from us. . Games
