What is going on with Met Life?

I cant seem to get through to Met Life's SS dept for the life of me. I call morning, noon, evening and can rarely get through. I had a negotiator just disappear about a month ago on a file and one of their staff told me in so many words they either fired a ton of staff or a bunch of them quit.

I need a contact number to someone that will actually pick up the phone!

Met Life is without a doubt the worst lender to deal with.  They are on my banned list.  To answer your question: There is nothing you can do.

You have to call when they first open,if you wait then the hold time is awful. I did contact a supervisor in the customer relations department - Cathy McBenu 214-441-4540 and she took my information and walked it to a short sale supervisor who called me back within 2 hours. I have also called 1-888-638-6964. Good luck.
