short sale

I feel so damn,I am a new agent in short sales and started a shortsale thru equator,first thing they ask for is 3rd party letter of authorization,I submitted letter of authorization,but they responded is not the right document,can anybody tell me about it,I'm thinking I should just give it to somebody in my office with short sale experience and just get a referral fee.

Sylvia you should certainly team up with someone that has experience. After a couple of transactions you'll have the knowledge and confidence to go it alone. Your sellers are depending on you to help them avoid being foreclosed on. This is serious stuff.

If you don't know what you're doing, you should pass it off to another agent who does, but work with them still and see how the process works. You should also take some classes or look into joining up with Harris Real Estate University. I've learned a lot from them!

Yes I think to team up with someone with experience is a good idea,but at the same time I would like to learn the prosses.Thank you very much for your advice!

What lender? once you get that information - check out that group here on SS superstars and you may find the info. Also, you can usually go on the lender's site and retrieve the form or just call them. Good luck!

I know I'm a couple of days late answering this but it might help someone else. You may be receiving a rejection from equator because it is not in the right format---they won't tell you that, they just reject it. Everything must go in a pdf. Hope this helps.
