Short sale during Redeemption Period?

Hello,

 

Did anyone do a SS during the Redeeption period? I have 2 SS customers who have received the sheriff notice. However, they have 6 months redeemption period in MN. We are doing the SS now..Anyone can share your experience or ideas? Thank you!!

Are you saying the home was sold at auction? The sheriffs gave them notice to evict? In Ca impossible to do SS once house has sold. Not sure about your state...I would think if it is allowed you need to get an offer ASAP.

Maribella, Thank you for your reply. I found out in MN the homeowner has 6 months before the eviction. The bank told me that we can still try to get an offer and do SS. Werid sound though.. but thank you again for your response!
