Need ASC/Wells Fargo short sale aproval extension where Negotiator/Closer cannot help.
Anyone know of some short sale help at Wells Fargo/ASC that can extend a short sale letter on a file that I am being told cannot extend beyond 8/4/11 due to the ASC files having to close within 90 days of approval? A lot of the time was spent at the MI company and had to extend during the 1st and 2nd not agreeing. Beyond a negotiator or closer, though.

I haven't checked on a foreclosure sale date, lately, because I haven't been calling BOA over the phone (been e-mailing-they don't respond to their direct numbers listed on their e-mail.) I will ask, though.
Contract is good. Buyer wants home.
The lender took so long getting MI approval and then shot out the approval letter based on the HUD that was a few weeks old with a closing date of tomorrow. We told them that the buyer's loan was expiring and they would have to begin the FHA process, again. Yet, they still gave us an approval letter on the 24th with closing on the 29th. Now, we need until Aug. 30th and they won't extend beyond Aug. 4th. Being skeptical of these lenders, my first instinct is to think that maybe they are trying to get per diem because they know how long and hard everyone has worked on this file. I haven't offered that up, because I want to try to find out if they CAN really extend but are just playing hardball.
