My client whom I've shorted on another property in California is active Military and has investment property in Florida. He needs an agent in Florida to assist him so I'd like to find him someone knowledgeable and professional.
Here is his email to me:
If you have a moment, can you help me with another short sale question. Its in FL, so the laws are different I'm sure, but the concept should be close to the same. Here is the deal.
I need very specific information since I purchased a home with a partner as an investment property vs. a homeowner occupied property. Our interest rate is 8.25% crazy expensive. Can I switch my primary residence from one of my homes in Orlando to this one and then short sell it as a homeowner non occupied residence since I am in the military and not stationed there? I bought this house about 4 years ago with another Army Officer. The market has turned so far south we are upside down, cant rent it and cant afford to keep making $3,000.00 month payments on it. I know I will probably need a lawyer, but I wanted your expertise on it.
If you are a Short Sale pro, please contact me and let's discuss assisting my client.
