Shanna, I would suggest when your friend does indeed find an agent to interview them a bit, ask so questions and make sure they feel comfortable in the information they are providing. Questions to consider would be:
-How many short sale transactions have you closed?
-How many short sales are you currently working now?
-Do you process/negotiate your own short sales or out source them and if so is there any charge?
-What are you seeing in our local market as it pertains to short sales?
-What pricing strategy do you use for your short sale listings?
-Do you have any approvals you could show me that show no deficiency?
-What documents will you be needing from me?
-Do you think I'm a candidate for HAFA and if so what's the good and bad points about doing a HAFA short sale?
Just some things to help pick the right short sale agent who will do the best job for your situation. Good luck!!
Shanna,
I have an agent that I can refer to you in that area of Nebraska who is experienced in short sales with getting them approved with no deficiency. Let's talk and I can get you the info.
