I just read and followed Annette Bixler's advice regarding how to find out who the investor is on a loan at https://www.mers-servicerid.org/sis/index.jsp
In running the information for a client on a supposed B of A loan, the feedback from the site gave Ocwen as the servicer and Aurora as the investor.
I'm beginning to suspect there are multiple investors, but the Ocwen servicing is a complete surprise because B of A is the contact point.
Anyone have any idea of what's going on here?

Ocwen took over a boat load of loans from Aurora in the summer, and is taking over another boat load from B of A now.Not sure if that helps.
