Does anyone know if IndyMac has a seasoning requirement on how long the buyer must hold a property after a short sale has been approved before they can sell it?  If so, is it indicated in their final approval letter what those requirements are?  If anyone has an approval letter they can post, that would be great.

Thanks

lisa.

No.  I don't believe they require you to hold it for any length of time.  We closed one in October that didn't have any restrictions on hold time.  Usually if the purchaser is going to sell it in a short amount of time, it's more problematic for the people they are going to sell it to.  It's that lender that typically has issues with seasoning or title.
