I have been dealing with a SS with Everhome mortgage.  I am on 3rd buyer. Because of inefficiency of Everhome buyer's backed out.  Third buyer took them months to approve for higher price than 2nd buyer.  Approval letter stated closing 5/31/13.  I have asked from day one for extension, negotiator does not correspond all communications through customer service. Most inefficient bank I have ever dealt with.  I have spent money on de winterizing and some small repairs to have home set for appraiser.  Now today after calling almost daily negotiator sends me an email saying no extensions, file to be closed.  Management says no extensions.  I have asked to be escalated, they now give me a # to call tomorrow any suggestions or does anyone have names and #'s of officers to contact?  Need help ASAP!!!!!

I remember someone on SSS once saying I think to tweet this info out?  Don't remember exactly what they said to do to get Banks attention?

      How long have you been approved for on this transaction? Where exactly are you in closing? It typically depends on numerous factors and how you effectively communicate the reasoning for the extension. It's always important to put yourself in the banks shoes and paint a story that makes them more willing to work with you. Why are they stating they will not issue an extension? It's hard to come by good Everhome mortgage contacts, but we have had great success with some of our contacts in the past. Keep escalating the file and hopefully you'll reach someone who is more willing to assist you.

Hi Brett, Thanks for your reply.  With this file I have only had approval for approximately 30 days. Contract stated closing for late June. As I stated this is the 3rd buyer.  Others pulled out because of untimely approval from Everhome.  I am being told that the managers of the negotiator have denied extension.  Negotiator has not been easy to work with, no correspondence from her, I only get info from calling Customer Service. I was given a number to escalate today from Customer Service supervisor as these are the only people I can ever speak with. I will call them tomorrow, as they were  already closed today.  I will take your advise when I call them, open to any suggestions as to how to handle them.  Thanks again!
