Has anyone had Bank of America offer your Seller a Deed in Lieu when you were in the middle of a short sale?  Bank of America has offered one of our Sellers a DIL and a waiver of the deficiency if they do a dil.  We are waiting to hear if they will waive the deficiency if we complete the short sale.

Not yet but I'm sure I will at some point. Just be sure the sellers speak to an attorney before agreeing to a DIL.

Yes, we work with a team of Attorneys and the client has been referred to the Attorney

Thanks for sharing.  I would like to hear more stories and want to know if anyone knows what NAR is doing about this.
