Wendy escalated her file to the right people at OCWEN.  It works, everyone needs to have an escalation play in their play book.  That is the trick play that you use when it is 4th down and 1 yard to go!

That is awesome! Congrats...just used a tactic myself this week on Ocwen, bug the heck out of them until they started calling direct and should have approval today as the pre-hud and value has been approved! Maybe Ocwen is not as bad after all?

I am writing today over great concern with a short sale that I have in process with Mr Idiot Negotiator. The borrower is xxxxxxx, loan number is xxxxxxx and the property address is xxxxxxxx.
We followed your guidelines and instructions that are posted on your website and submitted a complete short sale package over 60 days ago. I called and confirmed that the package was recieved and a workout negotiator was assigned on xxxxxx. The offer that was submitted is fair market value based on the comparable sales in the direct neighborhood. The problem comes in with the negotiator not returning any calls or emails to me since. The last email was on xxxxx when we recieved a counteroffer, if you can call it that. The counter offer could never be substantiated with any solid comparables as it is $100,000 higher than the most recent sale which took place last month right next door to this property. Even if the buyer agreed to this inflated value, there is no way that the property would appraise. There is not a lender in existance that will loan more than a property is worth based on solid comparables. I know that the negotiator, Mr Idiot, is very busy and I know you are very busy and I really do not want to bring issue like this to you, as a matter of fact, I would NEVER escalate to you if I did not think it was absolutely necessary.
Please see attached market analysis and comparable sales for the subject, you will see where I am coming from. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter....


Just tailor it to your specific problem. That is my 4 th and 1 play with time running out in the 4th quarter.
PLEASE tell me what Wendy did... I have a short sale offer that was sent to OCWEN a month ago and I cannot get the negotiator on the phone for ANYTHING. Chase, who has the 2nd mortgage, has already approved the offer, and we are dead in the water till we get something from OCWEN.
