I tried looking for previous instructions on how to kill an existing offer (buyer terminated) and start over on Equator?

Can anyone please help?

Yeah, I've wondered about this too. I had a really messed up record in Equator last week that I wanted to kill and start over. Anyone with answers? thanx, cj
OMG! I just dealt with this and the only way this can be done is if you call Equator over and over again to request the negotiator to decline the file so that you can resubmit.
Oh Lord.... It almost feels like the negotiator went MIA. I wonder how do they build their tenacity on not wanting to listen about the transaction....

On my last file, I was told that a few files have had this problem in Equator. (Sounds like the 3 of us got one of these "lucky" files). I recommend calling every day until they escalate your issue and receive confirmation from the negotiator himself that they will update the online system so that you can resubmit it and start all over again. Don't let anyone at Equator tell you that you don't have to start all over again. That is a lie. You WILL have to start all over again. Luckily, Equator is pretty quick.

Do you know if they assign the sam negotiator or will the file be forwarded to a new one? I feel that some of our files are handled by inexperienced negotiators and they are just killing the deals.
They will reassign.
I am really not impressed with Equator. Now the customer service number in Texas that you could count on getting someone that knew what to do is not in service. Why can they not just allow the property and it's info to stay in the system and allow us to submit more offers as the buyers walk? How much more efficient that would be than having to start the file from scratch with a new negotiator, including having the Borrower fill in their information. One borrower is on his 3rd time. Not a happy camper! They have 7 days to cancel the file once you request it.
